- A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Gabrielle Fine has spent the last 11 years residing in the Pacific Northwest and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Evergreen State College. She also completed a program in children's book illustration and a graphic novel intensive workshop, as well as many digital imaging classes at Luminousworks in Ballard. She has found a little time to do things like weaving a blanket, blogging, boxing fitness, and gardening. However, photography continues to take most of her attention. She currently resides in Madison, WI, with her husband, a graduate student.

nice job! it reminds me of a story i heard about Claes Oldenburg buying a DeKooning and erasing it and calling it "Erased DeKooning"

Ahh, this is great! The look on her face is just fantastic. Such surprise at the fact she is fading. Love it!
This is a perfect, elegant and well-done drawing! Sorry I missed it a few weeks ago. I was probably busy over-rendering my own solution to notice your much cleaner solution.
